Posted By: lorilynngreene On:

On today’s Recovery Now, Polly Morris from Monadnock Area Peer Support Agency joined Jen and Lori. They started off talking about Polly’s personal recovery in her late forties, after dealing with alcoholism and anxiety disorder from her teen years.  She added how she had a spiritual awakening and began pursuing an education in addiction studies.

The conversation continued about Polly’s experiences helping others in a variety of organizations. She also highlighted the dire need for aftercare peer support and recovery respite. More recently, Polly became a recovery coach through Recovery Coach Training Academy. She also told us some success stories of helping families dealing with mental health disorders.

Finally, Jen asked Polly more about the spiritual aspects of her journey to recovery and helping others restore their lives. Listen in and hear more about it!
