On today’s Musings with Marnie, Diane Tohline joined Lori and Marnie to talk about her book, Raising Children Who Make Right Choices. They started of talking about Diane’s background as a teacher, in children’s ministry, and moms groups. She then told us about the three building blocks of parenting that are necessary in helping us raise our children God’s way.
Next, Diane talked about a rest button we have when we think it’s too late to parent well. The conversation turned to how we always have another chance to re-model for our children. Also, how we can recover from mistakes and train our kids to go to God when we make them.
Finally, we discussed how important it is to train our children to hear and obey God. Listen in and hear more about it.
