Passion, Predicting With Prejudice and Preparing

On today’s Storm Chasing, Ron Moore Jr. joined Lori to talk about his fascination with nature and extreme weather. He started off telling us about when he was a spotter with Skywarn.  He then shared some predictions for hurricanes in September. They reiterated why Ron talks about weather from a historical perspective, so he can share truth about how now a days they are predicting with prejudice.

Next, Rob shared about a survey of a large percentage people under 30 who said the government was supposed to take care of them in an emergency. Ron’s focus is to encourage people to be prepared. They mentioned Hurricanes, like Katrina and Sandy, that could have been better prepared for. They also mentioned the importance of not having a false sense of security. He added how parents can help cultivate their kids passion.

They gave analogies about living in the element we’re intended. Ron shared about Successful vs fulfilled purpose, and how only God can fulfills. The brought up historical Yale University, Elias Loomis, and how he knew the Bible, established meteorology and astronomy, and was a well known tutor and scientist.
