On today’s Recovery Now, Jen Lever joined Lori to talk about the perfect, transferable, healing love of God. They started off talking about how we get through difficult things when we know God’s love for us. Also, that people can’t love us the way God loves us, because his love is stronger than human love.
Next, they touched on mental health issues being precursors to addiction. They then discussed the tree of knowledge of good and evil, especially how the good can cause us to have false identity in things that seem good. Scriptures were highlighted to show their point. Then they touched on the five things that encourages wholeness.
The conversation continued about how each person has a different recovery personality. They added how relapse is part of recovery, and how fear is at the root until love is revealed. Jen then gave us a testimony of how someone was healed by the love she shared with them, and they expounded on how God’s love is transferable.
