Today, on Recovery Now, Jen Lever from Recovery Now joined Lori to discuss Adverse Childhood Experiences & Inner Healing. They started off talking about how Jen’s son was predisposed to addiction through shame and isolation, and how his addiction started from a prescription for back pain. They also told us the long, painful process he had in and out of recovery and prison.
Next, they highlighted examples of the difficulties families have when a loved one is dealing with addiction. Jen also told us when her hope was restored after she met Todd White, who prayed for her son to know his identity in Christ.
