On today’s Musings With Marnie, Lori and Marnie started off defining what zeal means. Marnie then shared from first Kings, about Jehu who had zeal, but with a wrong motive he ran ahead of God. Marnie then shared one of her blog posts where she also had zeal, but made the mistake of having the wrong focus.
The conversation continued about God’s ideas being better than ours. Also, How to know when we’re being judgemental toward others. Marnie told us a story about paying attention to your own orchard, meaning we need to mind our own business.
Marnie then encouraged us to stay with the instruction God gives us. No more, no less, and learn from our mistakes to ensure we’re in line with God’s plan.
