On today’s Recovery Now, Jen and Lori started the show talking about how sometimes we can feel alone. They also shared about our need for love and connection, and how God is a very present help in time of need. Jen then told us about a minister she met in the Dominican Republic, Robby Dawkins. At one time Robby feared people were getting worse when he prayed for them.
The conversation continued about relying on God’s grace to accomplish everything. Also, how we don’t have to beg God, but just agree with his word. Jen added about mindsets that work against what we want.
After, they talked about living from God’s life instead of trying to get life through works alone. “It’s already ours!”, said Lori. Finally, they shared about God’s redemptive power, how He thinks about us, and His will for us to be healed and whole. Listen in and hear more about it.
