Trusting God Through Doubt And Unbelief

On today’s Musings With Marnie, Marnie Wells from Gilead’s Balm in Salem, New Hampshire, joined Lori to talk about doubt and unbelief. They started off talking about  how we all experience doubt and unbelief in times of testing. Marnie then shared a vision she once had about a field of dirt with one sickly thing growing, and how it took ten years for her to understand what it meant. Then Lisa Wentworth Couture called in to share about her seasons of great doubt, and defined it as an orphan spirit.

Next the conversation turned to how Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness. And Marnie shared Hebrews 11:6 about how God is a rewarded of those who diligently seek him. She also told us how personal God is how He knows what we need if we trust Him.

Marnie encouraged the church to stop unbelief and doubting, and told us our lives need to show we believe in a miracle working, intimate God. Finally, the story of Mary and Martha came up to illustrate the important choice we make when we sit at Jesus feet. Listen in and hear more about it.
