On today’s Musings with Marnie, Marnie Wells from Gilead’s Balm, joined Lori to talk about raising our kids to reverence God. They pointed out how we sometimes see levels of troubles, but it’s all the same to God. Marnie then told us how children have a will of their own. She told us our part is cultivating in them a healthy view of God, and how he gives us grace to do it.
Next, Marnie encouraged us not to provoke our children. She highlighted the importance of being aware of what we’re passing on to them, and how we can give them a compass for what’s important. They also talked about allowing God to change us first, so we can model how to trust him.
They brought up the miracle of God’s love that covers a multitude of sins, and how it’s never too late to receive it. Finally, they mentioned how God doesn’t want to punish us, how he has the answer for everything, and how short our time is to raise our children. Listen in and hear more about it.
