On today’s Storm Chasing, Ron Moore Jr, from The Storm Warning, Joined Lori to talk about Ron’s forecasting methods of truth and history. They started off talking about the stormy month ahead, The Storm Warning’s accuracy, and how Ron’s forecasts are different. Ron also told us about his son’s plans of setting up a Climate Change discussion in 2018, the importance of past weather data, and his specialization in tracking hurricanes.
Next, Ron shared his thoughts about the weather industry having some prejudices, mainly how they often aim for a goal or an agenda and not a forecast. He enlightened us to how some read weather models from higher altitudes for the weather they want and not the weather that will actually happen. He called this wish-casting.
Ron then told us that he and some of the best forecasters in history acknowledge God in their work. They also highlighted being truth-seekers, taking the fear of of weather, Trump’s Weather Research and Forecasting Act, and weather modeling. Listen in and hear more about it.
