On today’s Samaritan Truth, Lydia and Lori started off talking about being expectant through difficult times. Lydia shared the story of Steven Curtis Chapman and his Glorious Unfolding song that inspires hope for better days. They also talked about realizing our need of God and having a self-realization.
Lydia then filled us in on an experiment her church did on not worrying. Then Lydia and Lori expounded with personal stories of God’s faithfulness in seemingly impossible situations. Both acknowledged the importance of how this helped them grow in faith to trust God.
Next, a topic near to Lydia’s heart was discussed about the Syrian Refugee Crisis. She described her desire for Christians to be the first face they see when they come to America. Finally, she steered us to a local organization, NuDay Syria who is sending care packages for this cause.
