On today’s Personal Safety, Bob Boilard and Rick Olson from Defensive Strategies joined Lori to discuss Terrorism and Personal Safety. They started off talking about Bob and Rick’s background in the military and with Infragard, a partnership between the FBI and members of the private sector. They then discussed the recent suicide bombing in Manchester England at an Ariana Grande concert.
The topic of immigration practices came up as one of the biggest threats to national safety. They also discussed how Sharia Law is incompatible with the United States Constitution. There was a clear differentiation made between lawful and unlawful entry into the country, and the need for immigration reform. Other ideologies about extremism and Christian stances, and how culture plays a part in many misconceptions about the Muslim religion being a religion of peace.
Finally, they discussed situational awareness as a key to staying safe. and Bob shared upcoming classes at Defensive Strategies to help.
