On today’s Personal Safety Bob Boilard from Defensive Strategies joined Lori to talk about Self-Defense for Teachers. They started off talking about legislation that recently passed in Pennsylvania regarding arming teachers in schools. Bob told us more states allow this than they allow conceal carry. They also discussed legitimate concerns citizens may have, and the New Hampshire laws around the issue.
Next, they reminisced about how students used to bring firearms to school, and even have safety training with them. Bob shared how risk assessment was a key to preventing active shooter casualties.
