On today’s Personal Safety, Bob Boilard from Defensive Strategies, joined Lori to discuss safety during the Holidays. They started off talking about how criminals are looking for who they can prey on during the Holidays. From an article, Christmas Safety Tips: Staying Safe For The Holidays, they highlighted fire safety for Christmas trees, identity theft and shopping online and using credit cards with limits on them.
Next, Bob told us how credit card companies analyze our buying habits as a protection against identity theft. He cautioned us against deliveries of packages that seem to be getting stolen more often, and he told us to be sure and take an inventory of what’s in our house in case of burglary.
