Today on personal Safety, Master Trainer of Defensive Strategies, Bob Boilard, joined Lori to discuss Back to School Safety. They started off talking about coaching our kids to understand situational awareness, and advocate for themselves. They continued talking about being aware and prepared, rather than being afraid. They referred to the ADT Back to School Safety Tips. telling us what to look out for while driving in school zones, and be safe drivers.
Next, they shared tips for kids that ride bikes to school, the importance of following the laws. They continued talking about playground safety, keeping the same route and arrival time walking to school, as well as, bus safety. Finally, they encouraged college students in situational awareness.
