On today’s Storm Chasing, Ron Moore Jr. from The Storm Warning joined Lori on the show. They started off talking about Ron being authentic and going “All out” on his passion. He brought in some historical documents (posted below), as he explained how things evolved for him in weather was in the peripherals, the things that helped to connect the dots for his passion.

Ron then encouraged us to consider why do we do anything. Hee took us back in weather history to share how snow fell in every state in April 1857. They recalled previous conversations about the use of the word “Unprecedented.” And Ron used the current Tropical Storm Arline to illustrate how the criteria is changing. Ron attributed how false data stems from satellite that didn’t exist until World War II. He makes the point that weather happened long before this.

Finally, They discussed man-mad Climate Change, Matthew Fontaine Maury‘s charting of the seas, 1883  Apples of Gold pamphlets, and taking back your industry. Listen in and hear more about it.
