Today on Samaritan Truth Lydia introduced her Guest, Christen Kieffner, who shared her harrowing story of being a mom of four, with two special needs children. One of her children was born premature after a dangerous pregnancy that threatened both of their lives. After a long hospital stay, and against the odds, they survived but with a long road of therapies ahead for the child.
Christen shared how she felt God’s peace as her faith was challenged time and time again. She told us how her husband’s work brought him to another state so she did her best to deal with a lot on her own. It was an overwhelming time, and at one point she broke down crying, but she acknowledged her need of God. He was faithful to her through it all.
Christen’s second child was born with Down Syndrome, but Christen and her family are thankful she is happy and healthy.Tune in and hear more about it.
