Weather Cycles, Science and The Creator

On today’s Storm Chasing Ron Moore Jr from The Storm Warning joined Lori to discuss Weather Cycles, Science, and The Creator. They started off talking about computer models, emphasizing the sensationalism of severe weather today, and how it’s not so unprecedented. Ron then told about Benjamin Sillman, a historical scientist who believed in a Creator. The discussion highlighted how The Bible and Science can work together, though it is becoming increasingly unpopular with weather scientists.

Next, they talked about the Royal Society of London, an original science organization that had members with common purpose based on common truth. Then Ron introduced a minister and the first Governor of Massachusetts in 1643, John Winthrop. Ron told us how Winthrop described twisters as weather events, just as they do today.

Ron continued talking about micro-climates, and more of the history surrounding weather predictions. Finally, he told us that anything unprecedented means it hasn’t happened that way before. Listen in and hear more about it.
