How To Handle Being Mistreated

Today, on The good Life, Advancement Strategist and Owner of Alpha Advancement Strategies, Lori Lynn Greene, discussed how To handle being Mistreated. She started off talking about how Dr. Phil always says, “You teach people how to treat you.” She encouraged us that our life story is ours to write, and if we don’t like what we’re getting something has to change. Then she shared what she learned after being mistreated.

Next, She highlighted the stages of disbelief, anger, and the choice between retaliation or responding with maturity. She added how we can benefit from self-examination, prayer, and wise counsel, to help us learn why we’re being mistreated. She told us we don’t have to like conflict for conflict to find us. She quoted Maya Angelo, who said, “Believe people the first time they show you who they are.” Finally, she told us the importance of setting boundaries and being self-aware. The Right to Life, Forgiveness And Alternatives To Abortion

On today’s special broadcast, Greg Winslow from If My People New England and Marc Major, Anchor of It’s A Wonderful Life, joined Lori Lynn Greene to discuss The Right to Life, Forgiveness and Alternatives to Abortion.

They started off talking about laws allowing abortion up until birth, and the break down of support systems for those faced with unwanted pregnancy. Then they shared stories of those who have experienced the pain of abortion and found forgiveness and healing.

Next, They enlightened us about the spiritual aspects of this issue, and shared staggering statistics of convenience abortions. They encouraged us to take responsibility for the unborn, and shared alternatives where support can be found.

They also told us how children are a gift from God and have value. Finally, they prayed for those hurting or facing this difficult decision. Listen in and hear more about it!

Life Lessons With Lori Lynn Greene

Today, on The good Life, Advancement Strategist, Coach trainer, and Owner of Alpha Advancement Strategies, Lori Lynn Greene, discussed Life Lessons. She started off telling us life is a teacher, we have lessons and take tests. Then she told us we will repeat the ones we don’t pass, and she encouraged us to know what we want out of life, or we’ll be afraid to go after it.

Next, Lori highlighted life lessons she’s learned about taking risks and having faith, handling conflicts and going above and beyond. Also, watching what we say and being a person of our word. She warned us not to judge others, reminded us of the golden rule and how forgiving others ensures we too will be forgiven. Finally, she told us we’re not responsible to make everyone happy, but the best thing we can do for others is to advance ourselves and be a good example.

Taking Authority Over Addiction

Today on Recovery Now, Jen Lever from Recovery Now, joined Lori to discuss Taking Authority Over Addiction. They started off talking about what Jen learned through her son’s recovery, and how a lot of us think we’re the only one dealing with challenges. They then talked about Jennette Straus’ book Going to The Courtrooms of Heaven, and how we have legal access to take authority for our loved ones dealing with addiction.

Next, they told us how God’s word is spiritually discerned, and they gave examples of the Prodigal Son and his brother both needing a revelation. They added how we don’t want to debate the enemy, but speak the word of God in authority, which is our high praise. They told us revelation causes transformation, and mercy triumphs over judgement. Giving Up To Go Up

Today on It’s A Wonderful Life, Coach, Speaker, and Executive Director of The John Maxwell Team, Marc Major, joined Lori to share how to Give Up to Move Up. They started off talking about the odds of the Red Sox winning the World Series, and how the coach held the dream before the team long before they won. The same for leaders we may give up things temporarily to reach our goals.

Next, they highlighted God dreams, forgiveness, focused time, and practicing delayed gratification. They continued about the law of sacrifice, and giving things up temporarily for long term gain. The Power of Forgiveness and Love in Recovery Part 2

On today’s Recovery Now, Jen Lever joined Lori to continue their conversation of the power of forgiveness and love in recovery.  They started off recapping last weeks thoughts about deep hurt, what seems right, and responding rightly to pain. They told us the difference between pain vs humility, and religion vs freedom when dealing with offense.

Next they discussed free will and how God didn’t stop loving the Prodigal Son, but celebrated him when he returned. They added the importance of receiving Christ so we can allow Holy Spirit to guide us into truth. They also shared how God is not sin conscious, and that we can receive his forgiveness.

Finally, they helped us see how to handle negativity and pain, not to allow mistakes to determine our future, and how we need the free grace of God. Listen in and hear more about it.
