Bob told us there are policies and procedures brokers and realtors can set up to help them stay safe. They talked about situational awareness showing homes and during open houses. They also encouraged realtors to work in teams instead of alone.
Next, the conversation continued about access control and communication to prevent criminal activity. Also, how to deter them in various situations, and the importance of keeping track of colleagues. They then highlighted escape routes, technology, self-defense classes, criminal trends of groups showing up last minute at open houses, and several tips for agents to protect themselves.
