On today’s Recovery Now, Jen Lever joined Lori to continue their conversation of the power of forgiveness and love in recovery. They started off recapping last weeks thoughts about deep hurt, what seems right, and responding rightly to pain. They told us the difference between pain vs humility, and religion vs freedom when dealing with offense.
Next they discussed free will and how God didn’t stop loving the Prodigal Son, but celebrated him when he returned. They added the importance of receiving Christ so we can allow Holy Spirit to guide us into truth. They also shared how God is not sin conscious, and that we can receive his forgiveness.
Finally, they helped us see how to handle negativity and pain, not to allow mistakes to determine our future, and how we need the free grace of God. Listen in and hear more about it.
