Hurricanes and Climate Change

Ron Moore(Segment One) We were joined by Ron Moore for the Storm Chasing segment.  He shared with us about past weather reports, including the year in which the highest temperature for December was recorded, and gave us details about hurricanes that occurred in the last hundred years.  He brought up different hurricanes through time and told us about a book that he got from the year of 1892 which deals with climate change.  He then talked to us about a storm chasing trip in Texas.  Tune in to hear more.

(Segment Two) Ron talked to us about his historically accurate book.  He read an excerpt from Thomas Jefferson about climate change that took place before the country was established.  He told us about the Urban Heat Island Effect and warned against ‘crying wolf’ in the climate change conversation.  He then gave us a lesson on El Nino and talked to us some people in history who were grounded in faith and made an impact on the wide world of weather.
