Handling Critical Incidents with SoulSafe

On today’s Musings with Marnie, Marnie Wells from Gilead’s Balm brought Natalie Larson from SoulSafe on the show.  We started off talking about better ways to handle critical incidents. Natalie’s also told us about her training with the American Association of Christian Counselors. She then shared her passion for helping churches become more effective with trauma after the Boston Marathon Bombing happened.

Natalie continued to expound on her vision for SoulSafe. She said it was a way to help people mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually, after a traumatic event. She highlighted the do’s and don’ts of ministering to people’s needs after a critical incidents, and the importance of understanding the readiness of those we help.

Finally, the conversation concluded with being a safe person, the right way to pray for healing, and the topics covered at a SoulSafe training class. Listen in and hear more bout it.
