Today on It’s A Wonderful Life, Coach, Speaker, and Executive Director of The John Maxwell Team, Marc Major, joined Lori to discuss Creating an Atmosphere for Growth. They started off talking about leaders who develop other leaders, the importance of attitude, heart, and a supportive atmosphere. They continued about making sure people feel valued, and cultivating a sense of community. Also, keeping the big picture before those you lead, and encouraging through example.
Next, Marc identified willing followers and building moral. Lori added seven aspects of a good environment for growth from John Maxwell’s Law of Environment. This touched on being in a place where others are ahead of you, where you’re continually challenged, your focus is forward, the atmosphere is affirming, you wake up excited to go there, you’re safe to fail forward, and others are growing also.
