On today’s Storm Chasing, Meteorologist and Storm Chaser, Ron Moore Jr. from The Storm Warning, joined Lori to discuss the 1911 Heatwave and Climate Theory. They started off talking about the current heat, and the misinformation about it being unprecedented. They added how the inputting of data has been corrupt for years. Ron told us about the satellite temperature tool, and and infrared vs ground temperatures. He then highlighted a story from the New England Historical Society about the 1911 heatwave.
Next, Ron began to debunk Climate Change, saying it was more like a Climate Theory. He challenged us to fill a glass with ice and water and see if the level changes when it melts. He gave us historical insights to highlight his points, and shared some of his weather predictions. Finally, he gave us the forecast for the summer. Listen in and hear more about it!
